The Mt Clear Cricket Club has been playing and enjoying cricket since 1880. As one of the oldest clubs in Ballarat we have built a family-based culture where there is Cricket for Everyone!
This includes:
- Our full cricket pathway for girls and boys from grassroots Blasters and All-Abilities programs, through u11 to u17 juniors and into Senior cricket.
- Our full female cricket pathway commencing where participation grows into skill development in an amazing social environment.
- Senior cricket for Womens and Mens comprising teams in the BAllarat Premier and Championship divisions.
- A safe and culturally diverse environment for families, friends, visitors, players and volunteers.
- A culture of celebrating volunteerism who make community cricket great!
Our club fosters involvment and skill development in coaching, team management and umpiring and is very proud of providing pathways for our players to venture into higher grades of cricket – Representatives, State teams, WBBL/BBL and National teams.
Our aim is to continue to build participation in cricket through families, inclusion and supporting and celebrating our volunteers. With some 130 junior families, 160 playing juniors, 100 seniors and dozens of club volunteers and members our club strives to be a continuously improving and modern sporting club for our community.
