Mt Clear Cricket Club has a long and proud history of players and coaches representing Ballarat, Victoria Country, WBBL and Australia in representative squads.
Annually, some 30 juniors gain nomination into Ballarat representative teams including Ballarat Country Week, Western Victoria Cup, Central Highlands VCCL and Kirton Shield squads who compete typically during January in a suite of tournaments.
Mt Clear CC Women and Men also represent Ballarat in Country Week and other tournaments during the course of the season.
Mt Clear Cricket Club provides pathway and nomination opportunities for junior and senior players to play in representative teams.
In addition, we provide connections and pathways into cricket beyond our club cricket to help players broaden their cricket career opportunities. These connections include pathways into Victorian Premier League clubs to play Craig Shield (u14 Open), Marg Jennings Cup (u15 Girls), Dowling Shield (u16 Open), Premier League u18 Women, Premier League u18 Men and Premier League Womens and Mens teams.
Through these pathways players gain exposure to elite level squads.
Beyond our club cricket, Representative and Premier League cricket, Mt Clear Cricket Club is proud to have players at the very elite level who have not only sought their cricket ambitions but created a visible pathway for our youngest crickets to see, believe in and strive to emulate.
