The BCA this year awarded ‘Champion Player’ awards in each grade. This was awarded on the basis of points earned for runs,wickets, catches, run-outs and milestones. Tim McLeod won the 2nds award with a season of 499 runs, 5 wickets and 3 catches. Aaron Burfurd won the 3rds award with his 744 runs and 5 catches. Aaron’s season means that he come in fourth on the all time list of ‘runs in a season’ for Mt Clear. Both player have this weekend added premiership medals to their trophy cabinet.
