We are saddened to hear that Alan Parker, President of the Ballarat Cricket Association and Life Member of the Golden Point CC, passed away in the early hours of the 22th October.
Alan was a fierce and respected competitor in his playing days and always shared a beer and a laugh at the end of long hot days play.
In recent times he has been a tremendous leader of the BCA and also a great friend of the Mt Clear CC- supporting and assisting us to achieve our dream of our own turf wicket at Mt Clear.
Our condolences are extended to Alan’s family and friends, the Golden Point CC and the Mt Clear College community at this sad time.
He will be sadly missed.
