PROFILE:
Glen joined the club in season 2002/2003 from the Wodonga Cricket
Club where he played in a premiership in 1999 and was a regular
junior representative player for the North East Knights. Glen is
a steady lower order batsmen with a highest career score of 115
for the Wodonga Cricket Club and has a highest score for Mount Clear
of 85, sharing in a record 7th wicket stand with Andrew Vandebyl
of 136 in the 3rd XI. Glen’s medium fast outswingers have
claimed a career tally of 75 wickets, mostly taken in the 1st XI.
Glen’s best performance with the ball is his record breaking
9/43 vs Coronet City in season 2004/2005. Glen is in elite company
as he is only one of six Mounties to have taken 9 wickets in an
innings in a list that includes club legends Rex Hollioake &
David Tuddenham.
