PROFILE:
Sam, by his own admission has not had the most illustrious career
for the Mounties since crossing over from North Ballarat where he
was a 3rd XI premiership player. He has made some worthy contributions
with the bat, including a lone hand knock of 80 runs in a team total
of 180 versus the eventual 2nd XI premiers of season 2007/2008 in
Wendouree. Sam’s performances in the end of season sprint
have been just as impressive, crossing the line first by a nose
in the inaugural sprint in 2007/2008.
